Embossing on Business Cards

In embossing, a specially made die is pressed on printed card from back side in such a way that its surface gets raises on the front side. For example, if a logo is to be embossed, a die is pressed from back  of card in such a way that only logo area is punched inward from back. This means only logo area would be raised outward on the front and would stand out from the surface of the card. It gives 3D effect and logo becomes more visible. It is a graceful effect that brings a touch of class to your piece.

Printing: Get your cards full color printed, usually 1,2 colors printing is preferred. Embossing: Get your logo embossed. We do light, deep and extra deep embossing. Get multilevel embossing of your logo. Get texture and borders embossed. Corners: Get your business cards corner rounded. Stock: Wide range of pulpy, cotton and standard card stocks in various thicknesses. Lamination: Get your business cards matte or glossy laminated.  Debossing from 0.010" to 0.025" in depth on card stock. Special images are Embossed too.

Size and Shape Customization:

Standard size for business cards is 3.5"x2" which further can be designed in vertical layout or in horizontal layout. Mostly people use horizontal layout.
Its not necessary to stick with the standard size, traditionally a 2″ x 3.5″ rectangle doesn’t mean you can’t deviate from that size and shape. You may go for rounded corners, half rounded corners. which means any two corners would be rounded and rest of 2 corners would be square corners. In addtion to your logo, we can do your company name and logo embossed, depending on the font size you have selected for your company name. It should not be as thin as 10pt font, as it would not come as good in embossing on your business card. As a thumb rule, the thicker the font, better the embossing result would be.
